Maintaining the right air quality class has a direct impact on production costs, extending the life of your machines, reducing the risk of breakdowns and protecting your product and technology. Zachowanie odpowiedniej klasy jakości powietrza ma bezpośredni wpływ na koszty produkcji, wydłużając żywotność maszyn, obniżając ryzyko powstawania awarii i chroniąc Państwa produkt i technologię
Centrifugal compressors provide Class 0 oil-free air according to ISO8573.1.
This means that the air is 100% oil-free, but in order to ensure the purity of compressed air required for the production technology, the following are used:
- Compressed air filters
- Refrigerated dryers
- Adsorption dryers
- Condensate drains
- Additional Equipment
The purpose of compressed air filters is to stop solids in the form of dust, corrosion products or other particles undesirable for the process. The gradation (degree of filtration) depends on the process requirements. The filters used in pneumatic systems are available in a entire range, with gradations ranging from pre-to sterile.
Refrigeration dryers ensure the removal of water particles from the compressed air up to a pressure dew point of +3°C. These equipment, through the use of freon systems, remove moisture by lowering the temperature of the compressed air. The residual water content remaining in the compressed air after the use of a refrigeration dryer is equivalent to ~ 6 g/m3.
Adsorption dryers are a solution in which the desiccant substance is a special adsorbent, placed in two alternating tanks. The dehumidified air reaches a pressure dew point of up to – 70°C, which corresponds to the residual water content remaining in the compressed air ~ 0.003 g/m3.
Condensate drains are used to remove condensate from compressors, compressor coolers, compressed air filters, dryers, buffer tanks or piping.
